Architecture 2B were commissioned to design a Mixed use scheme on this industrial site that occupies a key position within the Holbeck Urban Village master plan, Leeds. The design approach was to reflect the expertise and metal fabrication skills of Bush Engineering in the architectural expression of the design, resulting in a folding metal façade to Manor Road as the main element. The benefits of the folding plate are to create visual interest and depth, and to create sections within which external balconies can sit comfortably.
